We are now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 internship programs. Interns and researchers in Costa Rica work with our landmark Finca Project to build more resilient rural communities in the southern mountains of the Cordillera region. Our programs range from 4-10 weeks in length, depending on individual project design. Interns must commit for a minimum of 4 weeks. This year we are working on the following themes:

Coffee Buying and Marketing
Ecotourism Development
Carbon Finance

Application Deadlines:
60 days prior to start date of program. Final payments due 30 prior to start date of program.

Living Arrangements:
Interns live with local families that provide 3 meals per day and laundry services. All homestay families can accommodate people with special dietary needs.

September 5th, 2011 - November 14th, 2011
November 21, 2011 - December 19th, 2011
January 2, 2012 - March 12th, 2012
March 19th, 2012 - May 28th, 2012 
June 4th, 2012 - August 13th, 2012 

Costs:
Roundtrip Airfare..........Varies $400-900
Room and Board...........$250/week
Travel in Country..........Varies $100+
Additional Travel or Souvenirs at your discretion.

Although many of our interns receive university credit, you DO NOT have to be a university student to participate in our internship program.
